Welcome to The Actual Reality Arcade, a life sized interactive game zone for all ages inspired by classic arcade games where YOU bring the games to life. Enter the arcade and play for real!
Since the Arcade first opened in May 2017 it has toured extensively across England and Europe and has been a massive hit with people of all ages and backgrounds, providing a communal space for active engagement for all ages to enjoy.
Mixing interactive fun and laughter with physical play and engagement, whilst also bringing back nostalgic memories and giving opportunities for new happy ones, it has proved hugely popular with players and audiences wherever it has been.
The interactive installation is fast approaching its 10th birthday and 200th public event.
It wouldn’t have all been possible without Without Walls Street Arts Consortium supporting the creation of the Arcade back in 2016 and all the fantastic events who have supported the Arcade over the years along with all the wonderful people who have helped to build and run the games over the time.
Breaking new ground in the possibilities of interactive installations in public spaces, the Actual Reality Arcade always provides a welcoming space for all to play and share smiles and enjoyment together. While audiences and passers by who stop to watch are often treated to real life comedic moments unknowingly performed by the players.
It’s 2026 and we’ll be heading out again for another year of bringing joy to the public at events across the U.K, Ireland and Europe.
